Life changes forever with the arrival of a new family member. It’s a time of celebration, wonder and exhaustion! It’s also a time that passes by so quickly. Before you know it they are 18 and on their way. A newborn shoot is a lovely way to celebrate their first few weeks and create images that will become more valuable as the years pass.
A newborn shoot typically lasts 2 to 3 hours. We work around your baby and you. There’s enough time for feeding, sleeps and costume changes. There’s nothing rushed and no pressure. My studio is a warm welcoming space and you’ll soon feel at home.
The best time to have the shoot is before your little one is 3 weeks old. They are usually easier to settle and are comfortable in most poses. I take a range of pictures, including with parents if you wish. You’ll have between 15 and 25 images to choose from.
Each session includes a pre-shoot consultation, the shoot itself and a viewing and ordering session, usually one to two weeks after the pictures have been taken.
Sessions are also available as gift vouchers if you’d like to give them to expectant mums and dads – a great idea for a baby shower.
